Legrand Data Center Solutions needed social media marketing for data centers that spoke to engineers rather than generalists. Part of Legrand, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, it supplies power distribution, busway, PDUs, UPS, rack cooling, containment, structured cabling and cable management for hyperscale, colocation and enterprise facilities in India.
Legrand Data Center Solutions needed a LinkedIn presence in the language of data centre engineers, operators and decision makers. Generic corporate messaging could not hold a technical audience. The brand needed content that showed real infrastructure expertise across hyperscale, colocation and AI-ready facilities.
Umanshi built a pillar-led system of social media marketing for data centers around five themes: global expertise with local execution, customisation and co-design, future-ready scalability, end-to-end technical expertise and sustainability. Each content series focused on one segment, such as hyperscale or colocation, started from a real operational challenge and positioned Legrand’s infrastructure as the engineering answer.
Every post followed a consistent, premium template built around Legrand’s brand language, clean editorial layouts and realistic data centre photography. Observance days such as Engineers’ Day, Independence Day and Women’s Equality Day were tied back to engineering and infrastructure instead of generic greetings, and long-form blogs on AI data centre connectivity added technical depth behind the posts.

Umanshi built a technically grounded social media system that positions Legrand as a credible infrastructure voice for India’s data centre industry.
Turned complex infrastructure expertise into clear technical narratives.
Built one premium visual and content system across every series.
Matched content to hyperscale, colocation and AI data centre realities.
Technically credible content for engineers, operators and procurement teams, mostly on LinkedIn. Effective social media marketing for data centers starts with a problem the audience already recognises, such as rising rack density or phased capacity, and shows how the infrastructure solves it.
LinkedIn, in most cases. It is where data center professionals research suppliers, follow technical conversations and check a brand's expertise before they get in touch.
Write from the operator's side. Each Legrand post began with a real challenge in hyperscale, colocation or AI-ready facilities, used accurate product language and showed realistic data centre photography instead of abstract technology imagery.
Yes. Umanshi provides social media marketing for data centers and other B2B infrastructure brands, covering strategy, content pillars, copy, design and long-form blogs.
Consistency matters more than volume. A steady monthly calendar built on fixed content pillars, with segment-led series and a few relevant observance days, keeps a technical brand visible without diluting quality.
It builds the familiarity that makes enquiries easier. When engineers and buyers repeatedly see accurate, useful content from a supplier, the first sales conversation starts from trust rather than introduction.
