Apeiro Energy is a renewable energy startup building hybrid wind–solar microgrid solutions for energy-deficient regions. Their patented small wind turbine technology integrates with solar to deliver reliable, decentralised power for communities and enterprises.
Apeiro Energy was referred to Umanshi by their accelerator Social Alpha to create an investor-ready pitch deck. While the team had done extensive on-ground work and testing, their existing deck remained theoretical. The mandate was to translate real execution into a compelling, fundable narrative.
Despite field trials, pilots and partnerships, the earlier deck relied heavily on concepts and aspirations, making it difficult for investors to assess seriousness and readiness.
Hybrid wind–solar is not intuitive.
Investors needed to understand why combining small wind turbines with solar solves intermittency, diesel dependency and grid unreliability better than single-source renewables.
Claims needed numbers behind them.
Every benefit—cost reduction, emissions saved, uptime and scalability—had to be backed by data investors could interrogate, not just believe.
We opened with the human cost of power outages.
The deck begins with visual storytelling showing how unreliable electricity affects livelihoods and education, supported by data points like 65% of Indians receiving less than 10 hours of electricity and 15% production loss due to outages.
Clear slides explained the 2-in-1 hybrid model, low wind-speed generation at 3–5 m/s, 24-hour energy potential, and 60% reduction in diesel dependency, turning engineering into understandable value.
Credibility came from the field.
We replaced generic imagery with actual photos of installations, field testing, hardware internals and team at work—showing that Apeiro was already executing, not experimenting.
Converted execution-heavy work into a fundraise-ready narrative.
Clearly positioned Apeiro in hybrid microgrid energy.
Linked pilots, market size and policy support coherently.
